ART@106
Art@106 was started by a group of area artists and members of the community who saw the need for a facility to display and sell art in Bellevue. In order to facilitate the institution of the Bellevue Artist Guild as a tax-exempt entity, it was decided to become part of Bellevue Society for the Arts. John and Judy Miller, part of the original group, helped out by offering their rental at 106 S. Sandusky Street at a very reasonable rate. So that was the beginning of Art@106. Basically, it is a place for area artists to show and sell their work.
Art@106 is run by a Committee of the Whole which is made up of the Members. There are two types of membership: commercial and non-commercial.
Art@106: Bellevue Artist Guild is organized as a sub-entity of the Bellevue Society for the Arts to further the purposes of the BSA and utilize the BSA’s charitable status.
